Prolectric manufacture mobile solar lighting towers and originally asked me create a new photography portfolio for their website redesign. Following the initial phone call from Sabrina, I went down to their workshop to scope out the feasibility of photographing 5m tall lights.
The specification requested that all of the products had to be clipped out on to a transparent background in Photoshop. In order to get the best results, we needed an uncluttered light background. Thankfully the back wall of the workshop was painted white so I combined this with a white bedsheet and 3x flashes to create bright and contrasty images.
Delivery of the original assets developed into a long standing working relationship that saw me supporting Prolectric on a wide range of other projects.
