Professor Chris Edwards is a prominent speaker at the Ten Topics in Rheumatology conference that Image Events organize. Marianne kindly put me in touch with Chris to update the design of London Lupus Centre’s website.
This highlights how critically important good client relationships are for freelancers. Marianne was confident in recommending me because she knows that not only will I deliver, but I’ll do it honestly. Chris is one of those incredible people that busily manages multiple clinics so having someone who could just reliably get the job done with initiative was important.
I started building a concept design in Adobe XD so that Chris could quickly get an idea of the direction I was going. We agreed that it would be good for the Lupus Center’s website to share some design attributes to the Ten Topics in Rheumatology’s website.
We didn’t have the original source files for the logo so I also updated it by adding “rheumatology” and bringing the design inline with the cleaner website look and feel.
With some minor tweaks, we took the design to Elementor, which is perfect for simple websites like this, where I was able to quickly flesh the site out.
