Hoarding boards and billboards do a fantastic job of getting your brand, latest offer or development plans out in the public. After working in marketing offices for the past 10 years, I have picked up a commercial awareness to make sure the pertinent details are most visible. This is important because often, these boards are only read for 1-2 seconds at most but makes sure you get delivered results to your website or shop.

What are public information boards?

Like the trail maps and development plans that I design, these information boards that you see in nature reserves and sites of special scientific interest (SSSIs) are a great way of informing the public about conservation. These help to encourage sustainable use of the space and ensures the public is aware of any sensitive wildlife to look out for. They are also useful for displaying information like emergency contacts and routes with points of interest.

What size are billboards and hoarding boards?

They come in different sizes but the most common billboard size is 48 sheets of paper stuck like wallpaper. These are roughly 6x3m but I have designed posters for a number of national retailers as small as A3.

How do I get billboards printed?

There are agencies all over the country that assist with this. I recommend speaking to CMe Media who, from personal experience, have always offered invaluable support.

Who makes hoarding boards?

Hoarding boards are often erected by the construction engineers on site and left blank. A good signwriter will then be able to apply our design to the panel. It is worth speaking to your signwriter first as they may be able to build the panel for you. I am always happy to assist with liaising with them on your behalf and have years of experience working with signwriters all over the country.
